My cat wants to come with us... Fortunately she won't make it into my suitcase, even though I will miss her and our family, I look forward to this journey and learning experience.

The next month will involve Technology and Culture mixing and interacting with a journey to remember. Fascinating and fun -- where it leads remains for us to discover!

The main goals for our trip are to learn more about the culture of Asia and about how technology (specifically computer technology) has influenced the thoughts and lives of people in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Korea. We are interested in learning about the various Asian viewpoints towards technology through the lens of Asian cultures and thought. We are interested in how those views are similar and different from those in the West.
